Wow! Kinda forgot about this!

Since I have been so busy, I have completely forgotten about blogging. Still reading other people's but never coming up with anything for mine. I have had a wedding--Nick and Becky's and 3 showers in the last couple weeks-- my cousin Jill, Karen from high school, and Melissa Ebel. Karens and Mel's were this weekend, and it was a long couple of days. Mel's was a personal shower and then a trip to the winery, then Growlers and then kareoke at O'Leary's. It was a long and crazy day-- pictures to come.

Tonight I am on my way to see the Cardinals play the Cleveland Indians. I am hoping that I can get them on a little better path. They won the last game I was at, and maybe my luck still holds. I figure they need every chance they can get!

Saturday is moving day IF Lauren painted the room and got her stuff out. If not, I am taking over anyway. I should hear from Mary later! I am off to run up to school to work on putting things away in my classroom!

The happy couple

I just got home from my first softball game in probably 8 years. I made the second out of the game with a scorcher to second. So I didn't forget how to play that at all. I am off to bed since I have to get up to take Mom to the doctor tomorrow. As promised, here are the Billie Jean pictures from Amy and Will's wedding. They were so funny. I wish I had video because it was great. But check out that dress. It is beautiful! She was kicking it on the altar because that is how big it was, and it was not even bustled.

Billie Jean is not my lover...

Saturday was Amy and Will's wedding. It was a crazy time. They were really funny during the wedding. They both cried. Will was on top of getting her tissues, and then she would hand them back to him and he would calmly take them. It was the first wedding where I have seen the bride kick her dress because it was so big and messed up.

The highlight of the evening was Billie Jean. It is Will's song. He always breaks out all the big moves on that one. Amy even joined him a couple of times. Pictures are coming soon. I was the DD, so it was rough for me. We did decorate their hotel room with rose petals and strawberries with whipped cream and chocolate. (They don't remember it though-- it's a good thing we took pictures!)

Driving Mom to work started yesterday morning. So I am being good about working out. I have gone the last two mornings. Tomorrow I may have to take the day off-- I am going to the Cardinals-Reds game tonight. Hopefully they can do better than they did last night! Yeah for Jen, Dan and Lauren who are coming with me to use my Christmas tickets from my uncle. It should be a good time!

It's Friday!

I am so jealous of my last blog talking about me sitting down. Yesterday I went nonstop from 7 am till 8pm. I had lots of stuff to do for the parents, plus I worked out (Katie--how you doing with that?) and I had to get something to wear to the million weddings this summer, plus a gift for Amy and Will's wedding. I fell in love with a $100 orange dress. First, it is $100, second, I do not own orange shoes, so that causes problems. So I bought it, but it really may go back. Where is my pot of gold at the end of the rainbow? Then I could afford it. So when I finally say down was, I saw the last XMen movie with Reggie at 7:50. He called begging to go cause no one would go with him, plus he offered to pay. So I went and it was OK.

Today I get to take Mom on an outing. She is pretty excited. I am not looking forward to a 15 minute trip taking two or three times as long, but... I know she needs to get out. Then it's Becky's bachelorette party-- Growlers (I haven't been in forever, I have withdrals!) for dinner and then a bus headed to who knows where? Tomorrow I get to get up and see the SDS picnic parade at 9am. Ouch! But I want to see my kiddos. And since it is Amy and Will's wedding I have to go that early. The wedding is at 1, then Amy, Jill, and I are going to get hotel rooms, then to a bar, then to the reception from 6-10. Then who knows where? It is going to be a crazy weekend!
