Spring is finally here!

Now that spring break is over, it has decided to get warm here. I cannot believe it! What a rip off on the break! My students all came back to school like brown rats. So jealous! Anyway, I am really caught up and relaxed about school which is great! I am forcing myself to do this for Katie so she doesn't yell at me. I need to take a picture of the new car for all to see. But for now, here is a picture of me with some of my students who I saw and hung out with for awhile (10 minutes) on St. Patrick's Day. They took at least 20 pictures and I have been getting emails with the pictures all week!

Spring Break!

It is Friday of my Spring Break. I should be doing some school stuff, but I just don't want to. Katie yelled for my inactivity of blogging. So I need to TRY to keep up. School has just been crazy. January began the robotics portion of my year. With DeSmet and some Boeing mentors, the kids build a robot that can compete in a certain game. This year's game involved shooting at a goal about 7 feet in the air, and shooting at a goal on the ground. That took up a lot of time but was really fun! It is cool to see everything go together. There are so many things that I had no idea what was going on, but it was good to watch. The competition was March 10th and 11th in St. Charles. That was fun to see what every team came up with. Our team did terribly, but it was a neat time. The picture our robot. DURT stands for DeSmet Ursuline Robotics Team.

Also, I had to say goodbye yesterday to Susie, the loving Saturn that has been so kind to me the last 5 years. She had a tragic accident and went to the car cemetery yesterday. I need to load pictures of her on here soon.

OK, must go be productive. I will try to be better at this blogging business.
